Biotic factors are living factors in an ecosystem.
Biotic factors are living things that affect organisms
for example a deer affects an other living things. When the population gets too high, deer will eat all the plans in our yards and gardens.
Plants are one big living thing that affects organisms. Even though these living things arent very big they can be very big to organisms. What they do to affect orginisams is to absorb them to use energy to grow. Here are some examples, a potatoe takes in abiotic factors then starts to use them to grow then we eat them and the cycle happens all over again. Some of the abiotic factors that plants absorb is rain, the sun, and dirt.
The next living thing is animals. animals affect organisms by feeding on them like a squirrel eating a walnut or a bunny
eating a carrot. Another living thing that affects an organism is insects. Insects are one of the smallest things that affect an organism. An insect affects an organism by obviously eating it a caterpillar eats leafs and then disposes it anywhere it wants then with the energy it kept in its body it does what every living thing does.... GROWS AND GROWS AND GROWS! It grows till it cant grow anymore. The last thing that affects organisms is bacteria. The way that bacteria affect an organism is technically taking over it. When it takes over it it gets closer to the organism and just a predator attacking a prey it just runs into it and absorbs it. And thats how a bacteria absorbs an organism.
